Siauliai Region Meskuiciai Gymnasium

Siauliai Region Meskuiciai Gymnasium is a secondary school which performs primary, basic and secondary education programs.

The purpose of the Gymnasium is to effectively manage the institution ‘s activities, to provide the prospects for the development of the Gymnasium and priorities, to mobilize the community of the Gymnasium to solve relevant problems.
175 students study in our gymnasium.
After graduation, our school students successfully enter universities, colleges or vocational training schools. 30 teachers including non-formal education teachers, specialists, such as a librarian, a psychologist, a social educator, a special teacher, speech therapist, and dormitory educators., a school headmster, 3 deputies for education, a secretary work at the Gymnasium.

Students in our school in particular have a good track record in sports as our a professional sports teacher work in our gymnasium. The average age of the teachers is 46 years old.
Teacher qualification categories include 3 teachers, 17 senior teachers, 9 methodologists and 1 expert.

Participation in the Project will help the participants to pursue stimulating opportunities for learning across Europe, both inside and outside of the classroom. The students and the teachers will gain valuable life-skills and international experience to help them develop personally, professionally and academically, to improve their English language skills and develop their art and music skills.

With the help of this Project the motivation of the students to learn will be increased. It will also develop cultural awareness and open-mindedness, enhance self-confidence.

The participants will gain new knowledge in art, music, dancing; painting, STEM, ICT, critical thinking and teachers will improve their teaching methods.

The main goal of the project was to create an online open access platform that will include math, chemistry and physics teaching assignments in the 7th, 8th, and 9th (IG) classroom curriculum.
The answers to the problem solutions indicate the coordinates of the historically and geographically important points of interest in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
The assignments were based on the content of the compulsory curriculum, allowing students to acquire scientific knowledge. Using information technology, students acquired integrated learning and other valuable skills.
